Plutón podría tener un océano subterráneo rico en compuestos orgánicos La presencia de hielo de color rojo en  Plutón  sugiere con fuerza que en tiempos recientes, el planeta tuvo activas toda una serie de fuentes o géiseres, que  lanzaron potentes chorros de agua al espacio . Lo cual, de por sí, parece confirmar la presencia de un  océano subterráneo  en el planeta enano. Pero no solo eso. De hecho, la composición de ese hielo superficial parece indicar que en ese mar escondido y lejano, a cerca de 6.000 millones de kilómetros de la Tierra, existe una química compleja y, muy posiblemente, orgánica. Científicos del CNIO descubren un «escudo protector» para evitar los daños de la radioterapia En experimentos con ratones, los investigadores del CNIO, han hallado la fórmula para  proteger las células intestinales sanas  del impacto de la radioterapia. Han identificado la zona donde se expresa URI en una población específica de células madre durmientes que se localizan en unas oquedades del intestino. Estas células, una vez que finaliza la radioterapia son las encargadas de regenerar el intestino.  Los hallazgos de los científicos del CNIO abren ahora la puerta a un tratamiento con efecto doble poniendo como diana este oncogén. «Si lo inhibimos o lo eliminamos podríamos disminuir los efectos de la radioterapia,  aumentar su dosis y ser más eficaces  en los tratamientos del cáncer. SpaceX lanza 60 satélites al espacio para  crear su propia red de internet Resumen La importante compañía de transporte aeroespacial  SpaceX  ha lanzado este jueves al espacio los primeros 60 satélites de su proyecto llamado Starlink, con este intentará crear su propia red de  internet  satelital de alta velocidad. El lanzamiento de los satélites a bordo de un cohete Falcon 9 se produjo en Estados Unidos, más especificamente en Florida. En concreto el lugar fue Cabo Cañaveral y la hora escogida fueron las 22.30 hora local, 04.30 horas de España. Una hora después del lanzamiento, el ya mencionado Falcon 9 desplegó en órbita los satélites.
